Bureau Veritas Certification- Qatar (BVCQ) conducted their first Surveillance Audit for Al Jaber Trading and Contracting Company W.L.L. (JTC) last April 23, 2013 simultaneously in the main office and two project sites.

The audit has been carried-out based on the agreed and confirmed Audit Plan of BVCQ with reference to ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 & BS OHSAS 18001:2007 standard requirements. It kick-started with an opening meeting with BV auditors and JTC concerned department managers in in attendance. In the Main Office the following function areas were audited such as Top Management, Quality Management Representative, HSE and Tender department including our two sites at Four Schools and Barwa projects.

The audit ended up in a closing meeting with BV Auditors namely Mr. Anand Sivanandam – as Team Leader; Mr. Mohamed Saleh and Mr. Sankar Sarman as Team Members that reported their audit findings.

Also, in attendance from JTC that includes Engr. Sherif Nasser – QMR, Mr. Mohamed Faleh – HSE MR; Engr. Nasser Ziadin – Asst. Tender Manager; Mr. Mohamed Cheikhrouhou – Head of QHSE Audit; Engr. Julius Apostol – Quality Coordinator and Mr. Victor Macanip – QHSE Auditor.

The primary purpose of the BV Audit is to continually improve the Integrated Management System of JTC.
