Design and Build of New Port Project NPP/0065 – Visitors Centre

Brief Description

The New Port Project Steering Committee awarded to JTC the Design and Build (D&B) of the Visitors Center Building at the Port Administration Area, New Port Project Site, Mesaieed.

The purpose of this building is to provide information and knowledge to Port visitors and to provide accommodation for Educational activities related to the Port operations, Port construction and the history of maritime activities in Qatar.

JTC shall provide full Design services and construction phase services for the Visitors Center, grounds ancillaries to facilitate the operations and maintenance of the Center which among its features : an Aquarium, Exhibit / Museum, and an Auditorium. It also aiming to achieve a Global Sustainability Assessment System(GSAS) 4-star rating.

JTC has commenced the work from 22 January 2017 and it will be named Site 312 under the management of Engr. Mohamed Attar as the Project Director for the subject project
